As head of data science at Distinguished Programs in New York, Perry Beaumont oversees risk mitigation analysis and helps shape the national insurance program manager’s vision and strategic development. Prior to joining the company in 2017, Perry Beaumont served as managing director of a fintech firm he founded out of Ridgefield, Connecticut, in 2012.
Perry Beaumont spent the prior 11 years as a consultant for CSV, Incorporated and has worked in a similar capacity on behalf of AXA in Paris, France. Earlier in his career, he served a two-year period as managing director of Citibank in New York. He has authored three books on finance and holds a US patent for a computer method and apparatus that leverages quantitative and qualitative data from one or more sources to display interactive, real-time aggregation and segmentation of probabilistic distributions.
Throughout his career, Dr. Beaumont has worked as a lecturer or adjunct professor at educational institutions like Fordham University and Columbia University, the latter at which he has taught since 2018. He belongs to professional membership groups such as the Econometric Society and American Economics Association and is a former board member of Money Marketeers.
